He married first Izetta May Laveck (14) at IN in 1937. Norman (1) was divorced from Izetta May Laveck (14) at Springfield, Clark Co., OH, on 4 Apr 1944. He married second Dorothy Jeanne Kingery (2) at Marion, IN, on 9 Aug 1945. Norman (1) died on 10 Jan 1997 at Springfield Community Hospital, Clark Co., OH, at age 77. His body was interred at Clark Co., OH, at Vernon Asbury Cemetery.
He was a witness Jeremiah and Mary resided on River Rd. in German Township, Clark County, Oh. from shortly before 1900 until about 1920. The exact location of the residence is not known. John Osborn Brown, later told his children that, as a boy, he would ride his bicycle to Springfield on Saturdays from his parent's home on River Rd. with Jeremiah Calvin Brown (21). Dick's parents separated about 1928 and he was reared by his mother, spending some time with his grandfather, Elijah Shockey. He started spelling his last name "Browne" because of a clerical error made in 1941 after going to work for the New York Central Railroad. He had to add the "e" to his signature to cash payroll checks and used that spelling from then on. He was a Veteran W.W.II, U.S. Army, Persian Gulf Campaign.

Don moved his family to California about 1946 because Marion suffered with severe asthma. Marion became ill with poliomyelitis in 1949 and died shortly afterward. He was Auto Parts Sales.

73. Norman Richard⁹ Brown Jr. (12) (Norman⁸ Browne, Livonia⁷ Shockey, Mabel⁶ Miller, Clara⁵ Garber, Jacob⁴, Michael³, Jacob², Jacob¹). Norman (12) was born at Springfield, Clark Co., OH, on 22 Apr 1942. He married Barbara Unknown (35) at AK. Norman (12) died on 16 May 1968 at Wright Patterson Air force Base, Greene Co., OH, at age 26. His body was interred at Springfield, Clark Co., OH, at Ferncliff Cemetery.
He was a Veteran U.S.M.C. Rick became ill with cancer while stationed at the U.S. Naval Air Station at Beaufort, S.C. about 1963. He was retired from the Marine Corps on disablity and died of cancer five years later. After Rick's death, Barbara moved to California with the children to be near her parents. She later remarried and contact with her and the children was lost. He was Ret. U.S.M.C.
